South Dakota Wildland Fire (SDWF) is committed to enhancing public safety through the collection and dissemination of timely, accurate, and useable wildfire information.

Local fire information can be found by visiting Great Plains Fire Information. This Blog is an interagency effort by State and federal agencies in the Great Plains geographical area.

National or large, ongoing fire information can be found by visiting InciWeb Incident Information System.

Additionally, the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) also provides information, including a daily fire situation report.
